Design is explored through studies in design, photography, film, computer graphics and other visual media. This program focuses on developing an illustrative approach to design, creating imagery to feed into and support the graphics. It encourages an independent approach to studio practice, and often results in work of outstanding quality and originality. Graduates will be able to gain employment in all sectors of the design industry or successful self-employment.
Architecture is a bridge between humanities and science. It uses skills of the imaginative and pragmatic artist with those of the scientist and the administrator. The architectural programs provide a foundation for a future career in landscape, conservation and interior design. An architect is concerned with the built environment and offers his/her skills in the design of projects within accepted budgets and standards.
