Background
In 1996, Portman Business School was incorporated in Singapore and registered with the Ministry of Education. It was approved by Parliament to permit Portman to award its own Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Professional Diploma. Portman Business School has been conducting Advanced Diploma courses since 1996, together with postgraduate and undergraduate programs offered by foreign universities.
Portman University was established in May 2001 in Delaware, United States of America. A regional office for East Asia has been set up in Singapore. It offers various postgraduate and undergraduate programs in many parts of East Asia

Portman seeks to offer a globally-recognized educational system that focus on the varying educational needs of our multicultural students worldwide so as to produce highly employable graduates that can contribute effectively to the international marketplace. Our mission is to provide a learning environment that encourages students to discover knowledge for themselves and achieve their goal in a multicultural learning environment that incorporates both traditional and innovative methods. Our problem and process based approach permits students to study real life issues and evaluate technological changes in ways that stretch beyond traditional academic boundaries. Students are challenged to develop a versatility of mind that will serve them with a lifetime foundation of transferable skills. methods and simulation;
•To create a framework such that students are able to study at different
Portman overseas centers with the objective of immersing in multicultural
learning environment and creating a global network amongst their peers
upon graduation;

•To develop leaders with a global perspective, entrepreneur outlook and executive
